Is Everything Ready To Go?
If you are going to be using your boat a lot over summer it’s important to have it checked over and make sure everything is in good working order.
That includes actually having your motor serviced, not just checking the oil, and getting your battery checked.
Nobody wants to be that person who has to be towed home from 5km up the river and you definitely don’t want to find yourself stranded in the open ocean with a broken down boat and having to be rescued.
Don’t Forget the Trailer
More than just a means of getting your boat from home to the water, your trailer has to be roadworthy and kept in good condition. For example, a broken axle could result in an accident causing injury to you or other road users and damage to vehicles and your boat.
